Southern Railway of British Columbia (SRY) is a full service short line railway strategically located in the Vancouver Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley areas. SRY has a fleet of locomotives, railcars, cabooses and authentic railway service buildings. The offices, locomotive shops and railcar servicing facilities are centrally located in New Westminster B.C.

Along SRY's right of way are many scenic vistas, bridges, tressles, proximity to waterfronts, housing and heavy industrial sites. Many of SRY's Customers sites are available for a coordinated approach to working with the needs of the film industry.

As SRY is a locally operated short line railway, their cooperative, film friendly approach, provides the film industry with all of the amenities that could be arranged on the larger, and usually not as cooperative railways. Film related decisions can be made quickly by local people. Additionally, SRY Operations staff are also available as extras for film work.
